World Language Distance Learning Resources

Hello there and happy summer! This is my very first blog post! First of all, thank you so much for reading this! I am an elementary school World Language teacher.  I teach students in pre-school all the way through sixth grade!

teach Spanish and French! I absolutely love what I do and I am very passionate about it!  I am also a mother and as I am sure many of you can relate, these past few months have been trying to say the least!  Our world is experiencing a pandemic and just about everything has been put on hold and changed.  As teachers and parents, we were forced to make a ton of changes very quickly all while keeping our calm and helping our children through this ever-changing, difficult time of social distancing and distance learning.

I don't know about you, but I am not a fan of being in front of a computer screen for hours on end.  As a teacher and a mom, I needed to get creative and come up with a lot of ways to stay active, get outdoors, get my children and students outdoors, and have fun! I also feel like I learned so much in such a short period of time! I found some incredible resources that were available and free during this time! They inspired some amazing new ideas that I plan to continue even once we get back to the classroom in the fall.  Though everything is still up in the air, and many of us educators do not know what to expect come back-to-school time, I thought it would be helpful for me to share these resources and ideas with you.  I posted a FREEBIE, a free resource titled World Language Distance Learning Resources that you can download from my SHOP that provides a combination of online and off-line world language tools, resources and lesson plans that I hope will benefit you! Always remember to teach from the <3!
